About Aprubado
Think of Aprubado as your shortcut to comparing online loans in the Philippines. You fill in one short form; we check it against several SEC-licensed partner lenders at once and surface the offers you actually qualify for. It stays libre for you from start to finish. On this page: who is behind the service, why sending one application to many lenders lifts your odds of getting approved fast, how to check every lender yourself, and the trust documents we keep out in the open.
We verify SEC Certificate of Authority numbers, BSP Circular 1133 s.2021 rate-cap compliance, and SEC MC 19 s.2019 disclosure requirements for every lender mentioned. Aprubado is an independent loan-comparison service and is not a lender.
What Aprubado actually does
We are a comparison and matching platform — nothing more, nothing less. Our job is the software: the website, the step-by-step application wizard, the matching engine that reads your details, and the analytics that keep everything measurable. We never lend our own money, never approve or reject anyone, never release funds, and never chase repayments. Every one of those steps belongs entirely to the SEC-licensed partner lender that ends up funding you.
Splitting the work this way is deliberate. Aprubado obsesses over the borrower side — a form that is quick, honest cost figures, and a match that genuinely fits your situation. The partner lenders handle the machinery of lending: scoring, pricing the risk, releasing cash to your GCash or Maya, collecting instalments, and reporting to the regulators. Because we are not the one lending, we have no reason to hide fees from you — we would rather you find the cheapest offer and come back next time.
One application, several lenders checked
Here is the difference between us and a single-lender website. Apply directly to one lender and you get exactly one yes-or-no answer. Apply through Aprubado and your details are weighed against a panel of SEC-licensed partner lenders — Philippine lending and financing companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission that each hold a live Certificate of Authority. If the first lender's rules do not fit you, another one on the panel might, so a single form gives you more than one shot at getting approved fast. Partners on our panel include names such as Finbro, MoneyCat, CashExpress, Tala, Vamo, and HoneyLoan (roster as of July 2026 — verify any lender on checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph).
The short version of who we are:
- Service name: Aprubado (aprubado.ph)
- What we are: a free, independent loan-comparison and matching service (an aggregator) — never a lender
- Who funds the loan: SEC-licensed partner lenders, each carrying its own SEC Registration Number and Certificate of Authority
- What it costs you: nothing, libre — the lenders pay us a referral fee
- Support: general@virixlabs.com
- Data Protection Officer: general@virixlabs.com
Check any lender for yourself
- Look up the SEC record: Open checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph and type in the name of whichever lender we match you with. A legitimate partner will come back with a live Registration Number and Certificate of Authority.
- Confirm the Certificate of Authority: You can double-check any CA number on the third-party SEC mirror at ploan.ph/register.
- See the rate ceiling: No partner may price above the caps in BSP MC 1133 s.2021 — read the official issuance yourself.
- Know your privacy rights: The data rules Aprubado and every partner follow live at privacy.gov.ph, spelled out in NPC Circular 2022-02.
The trust pages we keep public
We built our transparency pages because too many Filipinos have been burned by the opposite. The complaints are familiar: surprise charges that only appear after signing, debt collectors ringing your relatives and officemates, and interest maths nobody explained up front. A chunk of that is outright scam apps; plenty of it is licensed lenders cutting corners. Since we choose which lenders join the panel, we simply keep the ones that agree to play it straight — and we write the rules down where you can read them first.
Three of those documents are worth opening before you apply:
- /our-fees: proof the service is libre for you, plus a slider that shows an indicative total cost of credit for any amount and term.
- /how-we-collect: the collection conduct we demand of every partner — calls only between 8 AM and 9 PM, and never to the people in your phone.
- /complaint-resolution: our 48-hour investigation promise, a named contact for disputes, and the routes to escalate to the SEC, NPC, or BSP.
None of these are slogans. They are working commitments that bind both Aprubado and every lender we send applicants to.
