How our content is made

This is the rulebook for the parts of aprubado.ph that are neither a legal notice nor part of the application flow — the loan calculator, the trust hub, the head-to-head comparisons, the borrower reviews, and the how-to guides. We put it in the open so you can see for yourself how every word gets researched, checked, and signed off, and where we draw the line on what we will and won't say.

We verify SEC Certificate of Authority numbers, BSP Circular 1133 s.2021 rate-cap compliance, and SEC MC 19 s.2019 disclosure requirements for every lender mentioned. Aprubado is an independent loan-comparison service and is not a lender.

The people behind the words

Writers on the Aprubado team draft each page from two kinds of source: the public documents of the regulators (SEC, BSP, NPC, BIR) and the current, published terms of each SEC-licensed partner lender on our panel. Nothing goes live until the Aprubado editorial team has read it over — cross-checking every partner's Certificate of Authority number, every BSP rate-cap statement, and every bit of disclosure wording against the circular it comes from.

Which sources we trust

Keeping the facts current

The "Last updated" date at the foot of each page shows when it was last re-verified. If a page hasn't been touched, we won't dress it up as if it has.

Spotted a mistake?

Found something wrong — a bad CA number, an out-of-date rate cap, a partner term that has moved on? Send the page URL and the fix to general@virixlabs.com. We reply within 48 hours, and once we confirm an error we note the correction openly the next time that page updates.

Lines we won't cross

Why any of this matters

Plenty of Filipinos have found out the hard way that some “loan app review” sites are quietly run by the very lenders they praise, or by aggregators pocketing payouts they never mention. We refuse to play that game: we spell out the model in the open — Aprubado is an independent comparison service, paid a referral fee by SEC-licensed partner lenders — we name the team that vets the content, and we list, right here, the things we will never do.

Policy effective 2026-06-20. Binding on Aprubado writers and contributors operating aprubado.ph.
