Terms of Service

Version dated 2026-06-30. In force from the moment of publication.

Welcome to aprubado.ph (the “Platform”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the conditions on which you may use a free, independent loan-comparison and matching platform run by Aprubado, which introduces borrowers in the Philippines to one or more SEC-licensed partner lenders. To be clear from the outset: Aprubado extends no credit of its own and is never the source of any loan.

1. The nature of our service

At its core, aprubado.ph is three things working together: an informational website, a step-by-step matching questionnaire, and a referral-tracking layer. What it does is introduce you to SEC-licensed partner lenders whose products fit your request. What it explicitly does not do is advance funds, approve or reject any application, price a loan, release money to you, or pursue repayment. Every one of those functions belongs exclusively to the SEC-licensed partner lender that ultimately takes on your application. And we never bill you a peso for the introduction.

When you rely on this Platform, you accept that any enforceable credit agreement that may follow an approval is entered into with a partner lender, on that lender’s own loan contract, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy. You will be presented with, and asked to accept, those lender documents during the lender’s own on-platform signing steps. Aprubado stands entirely outside that loan contract and is not a signatory to it.

2. Who may apply

Before you complete the matching questionnaire on this Platform, please confirm that you:

  • Are a citizen of the Philippines, or a foreign national lawfully entitled to borrow within the Philippines.
  • Have already reached the age of 21.
  • Can present a valid government-issued ID and possess a functioning mobile number together with a GCash wallet or bank account registered in your own name.
  • Are submitting the request for your own benefit, and not as a proxy or agent for someone else.
  • Will supply information that is truthful, complete, and up to date.

Supplying false or misleading details may lead to your match being declined, to a partner lender cancelling any loan it has already extended, and, where the circumstances justify it, to referral to credit bureaus and to law-enforcement bodies.

3. How matching works, step by step

  1. You work through the questionnaire presented on this Platform.
  2. Upon tapping Apply Now, and only with your explicit agreement, we transmit your details over a secure API to one or more matched SEC-licensed partner lenders for their credit assessment.
  3. The chosen partner lender evaluates and decides the application on its own. Aprubado plays no part in that judgement.
  4. Should you be approved, you are handed off to the partner lender’s in-platform signing sequence, where you examine and execute the enforceable loan agreement directly with that lender.
  5. Releasing the money, scheduling repayments, and any recovery of arrears all sit with the partner lender.

Until a partner lender has said yes and you have signed its loan agreement on its platform, no loan is in existence. Any indicative figure, estimate, or sample offer that appears here is purely illustrative and is not a binding commitment to lend from either Aprubado or any partner lender.

4. Interest, APR and charges

The Annual Percentage Rate, effective interest, and every fee tied to an approved loan are determined and disclosed by the partner lender itself, in line with BSP MC 1133 s.2021 and SEC MC 3 s.2022. Aprubado levies no charge whatsoever on borrowers for the matching service. Whatever numbers a calculator on this Platform may display are estimates for guidance only; the figures that actually bind you are the ones written into the partner lender’s loan agreement that you sign at the conclusion of the process. Further detail is available at /our-fees.

5. Acceptable use

In using the Platform, you undertake not to:

  • Enter information that is fabricated, deceptive, or fraudulent.
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or any automated tooling against the Platform, with the sole exception of legitimate public search-engine indexing.
  • Try to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise pull out any proprietary logic.
  • Disrupt how the Platform runs — whether through denial-of-service, brute-forcing, credential stuffing, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
  • Turn the Platform into a channel for spam, phishing, or any unlawful undertaking.
  • Access the Platform where doing so is barred by Philippine law or by applicable international sanctions that touch you.

6. No warranties

The Platform is made available strictly “as is” and “as available.” Although we take reasonable steps to keep what you see accurate, complete, and functioning, we make no promise that access will be free of interruptions or errors, or that everything shown will mirror the very latest changes to a partner lender’s product, pricing, or regulatory disclosures. We cannot and do not guarantee that a lender will match with you or that a loan will be approved. If anything on this Platform ever contradicts a partner lender’s official loan documents at the point of signing, those lender documents are the ones that govern.

7. Cap on liability

So far as the law allows, the operator of this Platform accepts no responsibility for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses stemming from your use of the Platform — among them lost profits, lost data, or missed opportunities. Nothing here narrows or removes any liability that Philippine law forbids narrowing or removing, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Responsibility for the loan itself — its terms and its servicing — sits with the partner lender under its loan agreement, and not with Aprubado.

8. Raising complaints and settling disputes

If your complaint concerns a loan itself — how it is collected, how it is billed, or how it was disbursed — please take it up directly with the partner lender that granted it, using the contact information in that lender’s own paperwork, and follow the steps set out at /complaint-resolution. That page also lists the routes for escalating to the SEC, BSP, and DTI.

If instead your complaint is about the Platform — a technical fault, a marketing statement, the matching service, or how we handle data on our end — write to general@virixlabs.com, or reach our Data Protection Officer at the same address: general@virixlabs.com.

9. Applicable law and venue

These Terms fall under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, setting aside any conflict-of-laws rules. A dispute that grows out of your use of this Platform is to be heard by the competent courts of the Philippines, except where Philippine law requires a different forum — the NPC for data-privacy matters, for instance, or the SEC for questions of lender conduct. None of this strips you of a statutory consumer protection that cannot be signed away by agreement.

10. Updates to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When a change is significant, we will call it out at the top of this page. The “version dated” line always points to the edition currently in force. If you keep using the Platform after an updated edition goes up, that continued use counts as your acceptance of the revision.
